Your donation is the first step in making a difference. Each donation, no matter the amount, promotes positive change in the lives of children and their families. Supporters of Kids and Hope give the homeless momentum to move forward that they may enjoy a better quaility of life.
Every monetary donation is used to provide, food, clothing, shelter, and propane fuel, as well as medical and dental assistance. Since there is no underground fuel available, portable propane is the only option. It provides the tent city a warm shower, heat to cook, washer and dryer operation, as well as heat for the tents. One hundred percent of your donation will go to the kids and their families. Your donation will make a difference in children's lives. Please promote change in every child's life.
The goal of $20,000 for the year is challenging, but is nessesary to improve the quality of life for every homeless family. So far Kids and Hope has relocated two families into local housing. Currently we are building mini-shelters that provide temporary shelter. This has given confidence and motovation to the families still living in the tents. All of the families hope to leave one day.
Since this is a faith-based organization, Kids and Hope follows the good word and path of God, and continues His mission.
